NOTE ON SERVICES DUE TO COVID-19/CORNAVIRUS:  Currently, in order to maintain health and safety, sessions are being conducted only through a HIPAA compliant video service on Zoom. Because I am only licensed in NC, you must be in NC when we have our session. You will receive an email from me with your private Zoom link for our confidential video session.

Welcome to Change for Living Counseling PLLC.  Thank you for your interest in scheduling an appointment with me.  When scheduling an appointment you will be required to pay the appointment fee to book and reserve the appointment.  

*My cancellation policy is as follow: In order to receive a full refund of this deposit, you must give 24 hour business day notice when rescheduling or canceling an appointment. If you give less than 24 hour notice this is considered a late cancellation and you will receive a refund of 75% of the appointment fee. If you give 4 hours or less notice prior to the scheduled appointment, this is considered a missed appointment and you will not receive any refund of the appointment fee. In using this online scheduling system, this is what you can expect:
  • You will select date/time of appointment and what kind of appointment you're needing.  
  • You will then be directed to a page to provide me with information I need to schedule your appointment.
  • Once you've done this you click "Schedule Appointment".
  • This will take you to a page that has information about the confirmation email you will be receiving and instructions in order to schedule your appointment.
  • You will then receive a confirmation email to "finish booking your appointment".  You MUST click on the link in this email to confirm your appointment or it will not be scheduled.
  • This will take you to the page to pay to book your appointment through Paypal to reserve your appointment time.
  • If you are new to the practice, time permitting, you may receive a call me to follow-up to answer any questions you may have. You will receive a separate email from me with the Intake paperwork for you to review, sign and return, as well as a Zoom link prior to your scheduled appointment. 
  • You should also receive a reminder email the day before your appointment through Full Slate.
  • In order to receive a full refund of your deposit, you MUST contact me at least 24 business hours before your appointment*.

Note: If you are coming in with a minor child (I see children 14 years and up), I will need both parents or legal guardians at the first appointment to sign consents, custody papers that show you have sole custody or for the other parent not attending to contact me to provide consent.
